Rotary donates High Flow Heated Respiratory Humidifiers

The Rotary Club of Naga and Rotary District 3820 turned over eight High Flow Heated Respiratory Humidifiers as a Global Grant to Bicol Medical Center last Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

The eight pieces of equipment, which amounts to more than USD 47,000, will be used at the COVID wards and Intensive Care Unit. According to Angie Suño, Governor of Rotary International District 3820, this is a testament to the Rotary's commitment and support to the hospital.

"Project like this is the source of inspiration for all Rotarians to continuously engage in life-changing activities. Time and again, the Rotary Foundation has proven that our financial support and participation in each program will be a reliable index of how well our district and our clubs promote peace, understanding, and goodwill in the world," said Ms. Suño of Rotary International.

BMC, through its Chief Dr. Ronnie Gregorio Gigantone, CMPS Dr. Mary Jane Uy, and other officials, would also like to thank the Rotary Club of Geochang-Jungang, Rotary International District 3590, 3820, and 3661.

Rotary Club has been a generous partner of BMC as it is also the organization behind the Human Milk Bank and has given significant donations, especially during the COVID-19 surges.
