RT-PCR Testing is now available at BMC

 

 


With its newly inaugurated Molecular Laboratory, Bicol Medical Center now offers Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction or RT-PCR Testing, which individuals can now use for their travel, work requirements, or other purposes.

The RT-PCR Testing fee is P2,800.00 only.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO COVID-19 RT-PCR TESTING

  1. EMAIL
    Schedule your appointment through email at bicolmedrtpcrlab@gmail.com using your personal email.
  2. REGISTER
    Fill out the google form that will be sent to your email with the necessary information. Wait for the confirmation of your appointment within 24 hours.
  3. PAY
    Print or take a picture of the charge slip sent to your email and present it to the BMC Cashier upon payment of P2,800.00 testing fee.
  4. PROCEED
    Proceed to the swabbing area 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment on the day of your swab testing. The swabbing area is located at EREID Center Building, Ground Floor.
  5. INTERVIEW
    Present your Official Receipt and a valid ID to the Surveillance Officer who will be interviewing you for the confirmation of your details.
  6. COLLECTION
    A medical technologist will now collect your specimen through oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal swabs.
  7. RELEASE
    Send a picture of your Official Receipt to bicolmedrtpcrlab@gmail.com. Wait for the release of your official result that will be sent to your given email within 24 hours.

REMINDERS

  1. To preserve and protect patient confidentiality, all clients must provide their own personal email.
  2. Answer the google form properly, accurately, and honestly.
  3. Be able to come earlier on your scheduled time to avoid delay and deferral. Late clients will be rescheduled for the next available appointment.
  4. Do not forget to bring your official receipt and valid ID to your scheduled appointment. Failure to do so may result in a deferral.
  5. No Official Result shall be released to those who failed to send their Official Receipt to our email.
